At Zion Lutheran Preschool our mission is to bring the love of Jesus to children and their families. As Jesus tells us in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven” (ESV). We take these words to heart and desire to share with all our preschool families the gifts Christ freely gives through His means of grace.
Education Objectives:
Spiritual Growth – To acquaint children with Jesus and his love for them
Social Growth –To help children grow in their ability to interact with others in a God-pleasing manner
Intellectual Growth – To help children grow in their understanding of God’s world and help them become enthusiastic learners
Physical Growth – To teach children to respect and care for the bodies God has given them through physical activity and safe and healthy play habits.
Education Philosophy:
We believe young children learn best by doing, by experimenting, and by witnessing how things work first-hand. In order to help children become enthusiastic learners, we encourage them to be active and explore God’s world around them. We design our program so that each child can realize success using their individual strengths at their own pace.
