Art Activities help children creatively express their thought and feelings. They reinforce fine-motor skills and concept development in areas such as colors, shapes, and size relationship.
Block Play gives children experience with many different concepts such as shape and size discrimination, spatial relationships, number skills, balance, organization, cause and effect, and classification.
Dramatic Play activities help children express themselves, practice life skills, improve social skills, increase self-esteem, build vocabulary, and solve problems—all while having a whole lot of fun!

Fine Motor activities help improve small-muscle development and hand-eye coordination. Some common items found in the fine motor/manipulative area include puzzles, beads, laces, crayons, and scissors.
Gross Motor activities give children the opportunity to use their muscles and imaginations as they engage in fun, healthy exercises such as running, jumping, and climbing.
Jesus Time is the heart of the preschool program and its mission. Each week students gather in the sanctuary to learn a new Bible story, review the Ten Commandments, say the Lord’s Prayer, and sing hymns of praise. They also say a prayer at morning snack time and close of the day.

Morning Meeting takes place on the carpet each morning. We begin with our morning prayer and then go over our “weekly focus,” including the letter, number, shape, color, and sight words of the week. We update and discuss the calendar, identify the weather, and sing songs. Circle time allows the children to share ideas, plans and observations. These activities are designed to stimulate their thinking, enrich their social skills and expand their attention spans.
Music activities promote children’s listening skills, creative expression, and social skills. With music children can explore sound, volume, tempo, and rhythm.
Science activities offer children many hands-on opportunities for observation, exploration, investigation, making predictions, and experimentation.
Sensory activities allow children to experiment with different textures and the properties of different substances. These activities may also promote the development of math, science, language, or fine-motor skills.
Story Time is designed to help children develop an appreciation and enjoyment of literature. Reading activities enhance children’s vocabulary and comprehension skills and expand their overall knowledge base.
