Subject: Enhancing Safety and Wellness in Our Church Community
Dear blessed members of Zion,
I hope this message finds you well. We are pleased to announce a significant initiative to enhance the safety and wellness of our church community. Thanks to 2 generous monetary donations, we have been able to purchase an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for our church. This crucial device can save lives in the event of a cardiac emergency, providing immediate assistance until professional medical help arrives.
In addition to acquiring an AED, we strongly encourage members of our congregation to become CPR certified. Knowledge of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is invaluable, enabling you to assist in emergencies both within our church and in the wider community.
Carlinville Area Hospital offers CPR certification classes. These classes are comprehensive and will equip you with the skills needed to perform CPR confidently and effectively.
Details of the CPR Certification Classes:
- Dates and Times: June 25th or August 27th; both offered from 8am-12pm

- Cost: $30 per person (will be covered by one of the donations – please contact Laura Mefford at (217)971-4017 to let her know which class you registered for)
